This forum is for practical GPU discussion with enough detail that other people can reproduce the problem, challenge the assumption, or confirm the fix. The goal is useful technical signal, not fast guesses.

What belongs here

  • Modern NVIDIA GPUs, retro NVIDIA hardware, drivers, operating-system issues, thermals, power, displays, CUDA and AI workflows, repair, restoration, gaming builds, workstation builds, undervolting, and benchmark method.
  • Comparisons with AMD or Intel when they help answer a real buying, compatibility, or troubleshooting question. Nvidia Club is NVIDIA-focused, but not locked into brand cheerleading.
  • Build logs, repair notes, controlled benchmark results, driver branch comparisons, and OS-specific fixes that other readers can verify.

What to include in a technical help thread

  • Exact GPU model, board partner, and VRAM amount.
  • CPU, motherboard, PSU, RAM, monitor model, cable or adapter path, and operating system version.
  • Driver version, VBIOS version if relevant, and whether the system is stock, overclocked, or undervolted.
  • The exact symptom, when it happens, and what changed just before it started.
  • What you already tested, with results.
  • Photos, screenshots, logs, or benchmark captures when they clarify the problem.

What does not help

  • “Latest drivers are broken” without version numbers, hardware, and repro steps.
  • “Dead GPU?” without power, display, and boot-behavior checks.
  • Benchmark screenshots without settings, game version, or capture method.
  • Advice copied from AI summaries, random listicles, or forum hearsay without testing.

Posting standards

  • Be specific.
  • Say when you are guessing.
  • Separate measurement from opinion.
  • If you solve your own issue, come back and post the fix.

If you are not sure where to post, use the closest matching forum and include enough detail for staff to move it cleanly.
